ACCESS PhD Student and Postdoc Workshop 2012

All ACCESS PhD students and postdocs are invited to attend this year's ACCESS PhD student and Postdoc Workshop.

The workshop will take place on Thursday, 6th of September 2012 in Stockholm in the Courtyard Marriott hotel on Kungsholmen.

The program consists of talks (a keynote and an ACCESS presentation), workshop sessions and a poster session. The workshop aims to bring together ACCESS students and post-docs from different labs and will focus on interdisciplinary cooperation and technology transfer. The participants will work in mixed groups on different topics, such as Transportation Systems, Smart Grid, Telepresence, and Security in order to identify possible research collaborations.

There is no registration fee. This workshop is funded by ACCESS.

Call for Posters
--------------------------------------------
The poster session will be a central part of the workshop. It will be a great possibility to present your research to others in order to identify possible cooperations. Therefore, every ACCESS PhD student and Post-doc is strongly encouraged to present a poster. Possible topics include:
- Overview of your research field
- Summary of your own work
- Details of a finding (the common conference poster)
- Work in progress
- Research ideas

Printing of the posters will be handled by the workshop organizers. The expenses will be covered by the ACCESS Centre.

Please use the LaTeX template (zip 1.3 MB) to generate an A0 sized poster in portrait format. If you do not want to use LaTeX, or if you want to reuse an old poster, please contact Nicolas (nisc@kth.se) for the requirements. Please note that the minimum size for a poster is A1.
